What’s up?

Not much, mainly because I’m still waiting for the good fellows from Florida Power & Light to restore the power in my neighbourhood (yes, Katrina is the culprit). I’ll be back online ASAP.

Hope you are okay Constantin, I see your helping with the Katrina wiki project. I was thinking it would be a good idea to mention the url on the PR email list. Would you post? All of my Global PR emails are at home.

Constantin, did you notice that the katrina wiki is down, do you know who is doing the hosting?

Thank you for allerting me, John. We’re having problems with hosting/bandwidth due to heavy traffic.

We got over 80,000 visits in the past 72 hours and our server (located in Amsterdam) is crawling under the load. We’re trying to set up a mirror for the wiki, with the following specifications:

    - superuser (root) access on real server
    - 40gb-100gb bandwidth per month allocation
    - have remote restart capability if necessary for crashes
    - box should be linux, >= 1GB ram, >=256GB hard drive

If you know anyone who could help us, please ask them to send us an email at katrinahelp.info@gmail.com, with SOS-KH-BU in the subject.

    Any help is most appreciated!
