Our small PR blogosphere is growing
If you didn’t have the chance to check what’s new in the directory of PR blogs (what’s that?) hosted on Bloglines, here’s a list of weblogs added recently:
- Lisa Meyers Brown, vice president for marketing for the American Cancer Society’s Eastern Division, is blogging at The Rhetoric of Me.
- McClenahan Bruer Communications, PAN Communications, and The McGinn Group are blogging full speed :)
- The president of IABC Belgium, Gerry Murray, is blogging at blog.iabc.be (IABC Café’s Chief Barista Warren Bickford will be pleased to know).
- LEWIS PR has launched (a while ago, it seems) a corporate blog, Lewis 360°; the blog is featured on the agency’s homepage.
- Ogilvy PR has (at least) two bloggers: Rohit Bhargava, VP for Interactive Media, and John Bell, SVP/Creative Director.
- Two interesting blogs authored by journalists: Rodney Geda’s postings on media relations (aka “Every PR should read this”) and Chris Edwards’s Hacking Cough.
- Donna Papacosta, the principal of Trafalgar Communications, is blogging at Trafcom News.
- David Phillips, the author of Online Public Relations (2001) and the first chairman of the CIPR/PRCA Internet Commission, is blogging at LeverWealth. His website has a wealth of articles on public relations and relationship management.
- Ike Pigott, who is handling public affairs and media for a chapter of the American Red Cross, is blogging at Accentuate the Positive.
- Last, but not least, Lee Hopkins decided to say goodbye to his BlogSpot-based weblog; he just launched a new, snazzy WordPress blog (and no, you don’t have to change your subscription to his feed). Way to go, Lee! And kudos to Ben Hamilton, the owner of Dynamic Web Hosting, for offering Lee free hosting.
Enjoy.
