HigherEd BlogCon has started

HigherEdBlogCon 2006Don’t miss the first edition of HigherEd BlogCon, a virtual conference “on how new online communications technologies and social tools are changing Higher Education.” During four weeks, people from more than 30 colleges and universities around the world will post articles, podcasts, and screencasts, and discuss about new communication tools and their use in teaching, in libraries and information services, in admissions, alumni relations, and communications & marketing, and in web design and development.

The team in charge with organizing the event is a great mix of professional and academics – and you’ll recognize among them our fellow PR bloggers Dan Forbush, Robert French, Elizabeth Albrycht, and Phil Gomes, as well as Dan Karleen, the author of Syndication for Higher Ed (a wonderful and comprehensive resource on new media adoption in higher education).

Make sure you drop by higheredblogcon.com and join the conversation. I will :)
